“I am still overwhelmed with the experience and I still cannot get over with the beauty of Tanay Rizal and yet PIMCO Sporting Events keeps on posting photos of our adventure last May 27 and I am proud to share this article that I got from their Facebook page and I would like you to see the beauty and mystique of this adventurous mountain that we conquered and inviting everyone to switch from road running to trail running for a greater outdoor experience.” – The Silent Pal Runner
Read their description below and I’m proud to say that I’m that trail runner on the photo below. 🙂
Trail Runners have the same adventurous spirit as the explorers of old. They are very similar in terms of going into unfamiliar territories where not many have been through. Some look at the pictures and appreciate the beauty of the place but it’s not enough to see it in photos when there is a way to be there and appreciate it in an organized race that make it more safer to venture out than going it alone. This picture of runners beating the challenges of nature is an example of how it is. Even beginners have done it!
This photo has been taken by Ryan Mamaril last May 27 during the 1st Leg of Nature’s Trail Discovery Run. The route is about halfway of the 21km race between Barangay Cayabu and Tinucan which are areas deeper into the Sierra Madre Mountains in Tanay, Rizal.
Next discovery for trail runners will be at Laiban, a mountainous barangay part of Sierra Madre Mountains. Laiban could have been made into a dam if not for the opposition made by the people and the church. The least traveled trails will be another beauty to behold. Already more than 200 runners this early have registered early to ensure limited slots. Regular Registration will be opened on July 16. Get your slots now with your teams. Get on with your running shoes ready and join us. Experience the adrenalin rush.
