MILO strives to give the Filipino youth a better future by promoting and actualizing its advocacy program, ‘Help Give Shoes’, which has reached 16,200 underprivileged school children nationwide. The program aims to distribute running shoes to students from ten schools in Metro Manila namely, San Rafael National High School, Ramon Magsaysay High School, Tibangan Elementary School, Gen. M. Hizon Elementary School, Pasay Science High School, Tatalon Elementary School, Carlos Albert High School, and Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School.
“MILO aims to realize the hopes and dreams of the Filipino youth by providing an avenue through which MILO Marathon participants can take action and help our less fortunate children,” said Andrew Neri, MILO Sports Executive. “This year, MILO will donate 10,000 pairs of shoes to students from all over the nation. That’s more than twice as much as MILO gave away in 2010.”
