Salut-an Run for a Cause 08/11/2012 @Batac City, Ilocos Norte


A state-run medical center in Batac City in Ilocos Norte will hold its first-ever fun run to benefit indigent patients.

Dr. Ma. Lourdes Otayza, medical director of the Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center, said proceeds of the “Fun Run for A Cause 2012” will be donated to the Salun-at Foundation to give financial assistance to indigent patients and to assist the medical center in the maintenance and operation of health and medical services; the training and education of hospital staff; and for research programs.

The Salun-at Foundation is a non-stock, non-profit corporation.

Salut-an Run for a Cause will be held on August 11, 2012 at Batac City, Ilocos Norte.  Salut-an Run for a Cause is a charity run project of Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center. The organization was founded to help people who cannot seek medical advise to health care workers because of lack of funds.

3km buddy run, 5k, 10k and 21k


3k buddy run (3-8years old accompanied by 16 above) – 500
5k – 300
10k -350
21k – 400

A registered participant will receive a singlet, a race bib, medal (21km finisher) and post race refreshment.
