Never Before Seen Abbey Road and The Beatles Album Cover

Today in News History: Photographer Iain Macmillan took the iconic photo that became the cover of the Abbey Road album by The Beatles, on Aug. 8, 1969.

The new photographs appeared on The Phobia Tumblr page [Above] show the band between shots relaxing on the steps of the studio, moments before they made music history with their famous walk.

Abbey Road was the final album recorded by The Beatles, featuring classic songs such as “Come Together“, “Here Comes The Sun” and “Oh! Darling“.
