Tough Enough 2012 – Cross Country Adventure Series

Tough Enough is a series of challenging physical activities inside the military grounds. Highlighting more than 20 obstacle courses that an individual or team must navigate by climbing over, crawling under, balancing, hanging and jumping with the aim of testing speed, endurance, stamina, confidence, mental grit and tactical movements.

In line with the Armed Forces of the Philippines‘ (AFP) civil-military relations efforts, Tough Enough was conceptualized to harmonize military with civilians through series of sports event which will be executed within military camps and facilities. This unique concept gives civilians an incomparable experience participating in a Cross-Country Adventure Race staged in a circuit used by the military for training.

Elite runners and professional athletes will be given a chance to experience the facilities of the Special Forces by swimming in the Fort Magsaysay dam, running on uphill roads, hurdling obstacle courses and trekking the heights of Taklang Damulag.
