Read My Entry in 3>1’s: Achieving Fitness Goals for 2012

I recently joined and sent an entry to where they asked 3>1 readers to tell about their fitness/sport goals for 2012 and what they did to achieve them! Their favorite story will win a pair of Vertical Tubes Cali Mari from K-Swiss. So, I raised my hopes high that they will choose my entry haha.

My entry goes something like this: “My fitness goal this year is to complete Nature’s Trail Discovery Run Trilogy and be listed as one of the Top 100 Trail runners and be one of the Trailblazers Awardees during Awards Night, and do a full marathon and Ultra marathon.

I am having a bit challenged in following my training plan, so during the day I make sure I have time to run a minimum of 30 minutes, and focusing on more uphill and downhill repeats and long runs during weekends. That includes mountain climbing for race simulations and stair climbing instead of taking elevators and escalators whenever possible. Sometimes I go home running from the office going to my house, and that’s like 13 kilometers. I do cross training also like basketball, swimming and dancing during recovery days.”
